While very sweet and loyal, Mud Nubbies make TERRIBLE house pets! Nevertheless, they've amassed something of a cult following among Orins who don't mind cleaning up after their every step. Mud nubbies are very good at playing fetch with sticks, and are seemingly oblivious to the existentialism of this hobby.

Sometimes if you bake a cake with too much heart and soul, it will come to life! At least, that's how people think the Cake Nubby came to be. While these companions may smell of frosting and cake mix, they'll never go bad like a regular cake would. They don't like being picked up by their stick tails very much...

Contrary to the name and striking visual similarity, Sea Nubbies are actually an entirely different species of animal! They're a perfect example of convergent evolution. I couldn't quite tell you why that cute little face was an evolutionary advantage... Maybe they get more treats that way?
