It's that jolly merry time of year!
The Realm of Orin is happy to announce that we'll be hosting a Secret Santa once again.
Thank you dearly to everyone that participated in the poll and expressing your interest in this community event.
Without further ado, let's get into this year's Secret Santa.

Sign ups will run from November 8th to November 22nd.

This gives you two weeks to fill out the form below.

You will have until January 24th to complete your Secret Santa.

Don't worry about rushing or squeezing in time to participate. Enjoying the holidays is first and foremost ♡

A reminder ping in the Secret Santa channel in the Discord will be sent on December 20th and January 8th. You do not need to show any work for these reminders.
A check-in on January 17th via Discord DMs will ask for you to provide a WIP piece of your Secret Santa. 

For your Secret Santa request, you can ask for art of your Orin, or bring a design idea of yours to life!
All users must include an option to draw your Orin. Designing a new Orin design is optional, and up to your gifter if they want to do it or not.
In other words, everyone must provide an Orin for their gifter to draw, and can include an optional dream design Orin they wish for.

Last year, we hosted sign ups in a Discord thread.  This year, we'll have users sign up on site by commenting below, and the thread will be completely open for chatter and Secret Santa gift posting! And for everyone that has delivered their Secret Santa piece to the recipent, you'll get a Winter pet box as a thank you.

General rules:

1. Keep your Secret Santa giftee a secret! Don't post your art publicly or mention who your recipient is.
2. If you can't finish your Secret Santa piece, let the mods know before January 18th. The sooner the better, so your recipient may receive a gift in time.
3. Helper elves are those who are willing to provide art in case someone has dropped out. If you signed up and can't fulfill this role at any time, let the mods know in #qna-hub channel in Discord. Thank you for your assistance!
4. After sign ups are over, your Secret Secret recipient will be DM'd to you on Discord.  Make sure you have DMs open to Shared Server Members so the mods can message you.
5. By January 17th, the mods will message you for a WIP piece; please provide a WIP or other message within 48 hours.
6. On January 24th, you can reveal your Secret Santa piece in the Discord server, within the #secret-santa-🎄channel. Show off your piece for the server to see!
7. To claim your Winter pet box prize and any additional rewards, submit a Claim. 
   • Submitting a Claim is similar to submitting a Prompt. To Submit a Claim, first add your art to the Event Art Gallery, copy the link into the URL section of the Claim submission, and submit your Claim just like that! We'll add your Additional Rewards, so you don't worry about anything else.
8. Any art made for Secret Santa cannot be doubly submitted to the Gifting Corner. That'll be double dipping!
9. Questions? Ask in #qna-hub in the Discord server! If you have a private question about the Secret Santa and your recipient,  ask first to DM any available mods.

Art rules:

1. All art must be at minimum a shaded bust or a flat colored fullbody.
   
   • A bust includes the Orin's shoulders; see the examples below.

   • Pets, max 2: +1
2. If you don't own an Orin and want to participate, you can volunteer any of the Orin NPCS.

Design concept rules:

1. Any design concept made for this Secret Santa must follow the minimum Orin requirements. If your design concept does not have these minimum requirements (such as missing a horn, has a visible nose), we'll ask for you to edit your concept.
2. Recipients must acquire and provide their own MYO slot and items for their received Orin design.
3. In the sign up form below, recipients can specify what traits or rarities they would like. Recipients can specify if they do not want higher rarity traits, in the case recipients want to approve their received Orin design right away.
4. Recipients are free to do what they want with their received design concept, so as long as they follow the designer's TOS. The design can be edited or does not have to be made into an official Orin at all, so as long as the recipient respects the original design.
5. Design concepts do not reward any extra Dreamshards, as concepts are not official Orins.

Now that everything's been laid out, time to get to the sign ups!
Comment below with the first form to enter the Secret Santa. You can edit your form up until sign ups close on November 22nd.
Upon signing up, you will receive the Secret Santa role in the server to be notified of any reminders or announcements for this event.
